This gorgeous little gem is nestled in the Shawnee National Forest. It's secluded, and yet convenient to hiking, wineries, and ziplines. The cabin is on our 52 acre property that borders the national forest. If peace, quiet, and solace is what you seek, you'll find them here. If you need amenities, the small town of Goreville is just 8 minutes east, with a Dollar General, Subway, Acee's (Local gas station chain with killer burgers), Whiffle Boys (local pizza chain with great Italian favorites), and a local grocery store as well as a couple of antique shops. Larger stores are located 20-25 minutes away in Marion, Anna, and Carbondale.

Guest Access

The tiny cabin is set on a 52 acre working farm, with ample space for stargazing, walks and relaxing by the fire pit. This is a working farm and also hosts 2 other cabins, but your space is set apart and comfortably secluded from both other guests and the animals. A green tiny cabin is visible across the pasture from your cabin. It is occasionally occupied by our on-farm coffee roaster.

This was the most beautiful and peaceful few days I have had in a long time. I usually visit the area strictly for the wine trail. This trip I wanted to get back to nature. This tiny cabin was perfect! I cooked all my meals on the hot plate and the fridge was a great size for a mini fridge. The upstairs bed was extremely comfy. The free sample of coffee grounds was very generous. I brought my own coffee but after I tried theirs I never unpacked mine. I purchased a bag of beans and can’t wait to have it at home. I will definitely go back!

The farm cabin was a beautiful setting and one of the more peaceful places we’ve stayed. Our pups loved the field and we loved the cabin. The sunset was perfect in the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit! Great place to get away or stay for a cross country trip!

My partner and I had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! The area is absolutely beautiful and peaceful — it gave us that cozy, private feeling of being right at home. It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature while still feeling comfortable and safe. The host was amazing — super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Anytime we had a question, they got back to us quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. If you’re looking for a quiet, private, and relaxing getaway, we highly recommend this cabin. We’d definitely love to come back!

this place was so cute and comfortable! we came to the area for a family reunion and rather than board our dog we really wanted to bring him with and still have the comfort of air conditioning and plumbing. This place was great for that and better. The ac was cold, the shower was warm, the bed was comfy and the coffee was delicious. If you are a bird watcher I highly recommend bring binoculars, updating your merlin app, and bringing a bird guide. There were so many birds around, it was so fun to listen and try to ID them.

It’s a tiny cabin in the woods with a nice little campfire spot and two nice Adirondack chairs. Despite being very hot outside the AC worked great and the memory foam mattress topper on the bed was soft and relaxing. Complimentary coffee too!

This tiny cabin was the cutest cabin I’ve stayed in yet. Perfect place for a couples retreat. Very beautiful countryside on the drive to the cabin. Our fav feature were the windows. The power went out during our stay because of a bad storm.. so we slept with the windows open in the loft. We woke up to birds chirping and a cool breeze. Keith was kind enough to bring us candles during the storm that night. He also kept us updated on the weather. Very kind host. Pay attention to the instructions on how to get to the cabin. I got lost but it’s mostly because I didn’t read the directions and had trouble with my GPS. We had a great time and we would definitely come back for another visit.

GREAT Getaway! No Wifi, but I was able to use my hotspot and work remote in the mornings. perfect size for me and my dog, the little kitchen was just the right amount of space to cook. they had plenty of utensils, microwave, minifridge, and electric grill. I recommend bringing your own camp stove or cook on the fire grate overlooking the rolling fields! the cabin did get a little chilly late at night/early mornings while I was there (late feb) but I bundled up. less than an hour away there are plenty of beautiful trails that kept me so busy I extended my stay! check out Blue Sky Vineyard after a wilderness hike in Panther's Den (stay the trail!) - beautiful hike & stunning vineyard.
